Meet Mayo: Our Emotional Support Animal

Mayo is trained to provide affection and comfort to people in our office setting. She can help calm patients and may reduce anxiety. Studies have shown interacting with an animal lowers blood pressure and cortisol levels (the stress hormone). Patients have expressed their dental procedures going more smoothly and felt more at ease with the presence of our four- legged guest.
In the company of an emotional support dog, our employees also experience a happy, less stressed environment. Increasing productivity levels and focus; keeping our patients as their number one priority.
